Former Iowa safety Brett Greenwood was the front of the Swarm, leading Iowa's players out of the tunnel at Kinnick Stadium in an emotional moment prior to Iowa's game against Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
Greenwood, a starter from 2008-10, is recovering from an anoxic brain injury, the result a heart arrhythmia suffered while working out in 2011.
He's made progress since being in a medically induced coma for 27 days, now able to walk with assistance and gaining more short-term memory.

Here's the scene from the press box:
Former Iowa linebacker Pat Angerer, who has been helping Greenwood's recovery, walked with him and on Twitter earlier Saturday credited Iowa strength coach Chris Doyle for his work.
We've been training for this for 5 months and nobody has been able to push Brett better then September 19, 2015

I don't think there's many college coaches who would do that for a former player. Being a Hawkeye is pretty damn specialSeptember 19, 2015
