Drake football head coach Joe Woodley is being hired by Rutgers

According to Pete Thamel of ESPN
Woodley, who played at Iowa State, won an NAIA championship at Grand View, where he went 72-5 as a head coach, before becoming a Bulldog.
Drake was 8-4 this season and earned an FCS playoff spot. He replaced Todd Stepsis, who left Drake for Northern Iowa after the 2024 season.
According to The Knight Report, Rutgers is also bringing in Drake defenisve coordinator Adam Cox, a former Hawkeye player.
