Pat Onstott, 95, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at Emery Place in Robins, Iowa. Her daughter was by her side. Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no services. A family gathering will be held in the spring.
Pat was born in Grinnell, Iowa, on April 25, 1927, to Merle and June Parrish. She graduated from Franklin High School and entered the workforce at Metropolitan Supply. Pat later joined Guaranty Bank and met her future husband, Jack Onstott. They were married on Jan. 14, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa. Pat was a long-time secretary at Harding Middle School having opened the school in the fall of 1965. She enjoyed many friendships with CRCSD personnel.
Pat is survived by her children, Jackie and Steve Reece, Mark and Jan Onstott, and Pete Onstott; beloved daughter-in-law, Carol Onstott; grandchildren, Beth Holton, Jeremy Reece, Ben Onstott, Molly Onstott, Lyndsee Campbell and Nate Onstott; and much loved great-grandchildren, Meredith, Sullivan, Jackson, Elliot, Emilia, Kylie, Kennedy and sweet ball of energy, Cope.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
