How to vote early in city, school elections across Johnson County
Early voting opens Oct. 15, with Election Day set for Nov. 4

IOWA CITY — The Johnson County Auditor’s office has released its early voting schedule for the Nov. 4 general election.
Voters across Johnson County, dependent on where they live, will vote for school board candidates, city council and mayoral offices, and a referendum on a 1 percent local-option sales tax.
Election Day voter registration is available, though the auditor’s office recommends registering before Nov. 4.
Johnson County Auditor's Office
Voting will be available in the Johnson County Administration Building lobby, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Monday, Nov. 3. Voters can cast ballots every weekday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Voting also will be available at the lobby Saturday, Nov. 1 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Drive-Thru Voting
Voters can drive through to vote at the Health and Human Services Building parking ramp, 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Monday, Nov. 3. Drive-thru voting is available 8 weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Drive-thru voting also will be available Saturday, Nov. 1, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
University of Iowa Health Care — Iowa River Landing Clinic
Voting will be open at the clinic, 920 E Second Ave., Coralville — Suite 201 A-B, on Monday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
University of Iowa Health Care — Health Care Support Services Building
Voting will be open at the clinic, 3281 Ridgeway Dr., Coralville, on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
University of Iowa Health Care
Voting will be open at UI Health Care, 200 Hawkins Dr., Iowa City, in the Fountain Lobby, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Thursday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Iowa City Public Library
Ballots can be cast at the library, 123 S. Linn St., Iowa City, on Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 26, noon-5 p.m.
North Liberty City Hall
Voting will be open at City Hall, 360 N. Main St., North Liberty, on Saturday, Nov. 1, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Coralville Public Library
Voters can cast ballots at the library, 1401 Fifth St., Coralville, on Saturday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 2, noon-4 p.m.
Absentee ballot requests now open
From now until 5 p.m. Oct. 20, eligible voters can request an absentee ballot from the county auditor’s office. Other early voting information still is being finalized.
Election Day is Nov. 4. All absentee ballots must be turned in by 8 p.m. that day to be counted.
