This is the 99th time Iowa and Wisconsin are playing each other in football. Which means they started doing this before you were born. And you thought you were so important.
Anyway, here are some more Heartland Bull Fun Facts!
- Iowa has won the last three games in this series.
- The Badgers have just one touchdown over their last two games against Iowa and have averaged only 12 points in their last five games against the Hawkeyes.
- Wisconsin offensive line coach A.J. Blazek played on Kirk Ferentz’s first two Iowa teams, in 1999 and 2000.
- Neither team has a player among the Big Ten’s top 20 in rushing yardage. The Badgers had the league’s leader in rushing yards per game in 2023 in Braelon Allen, and Iowa’s Kaleb Johnson held that distinction last year.
