Here’s where Iowa men’s basketball players of the past five seasons are playing:
Dasonte Bowen: Transferred from Iowa to St. Bonaventure. Averaged 11.1 points there last season before his season was halted by injury after 10 games.
Ladji Dembele: Transferred from Iowa to UNLV. Is out for the next month with a foot injury.
Josh Dix: Transferred from Iowa to Creighton after last season.
CJ Fredrick: Is a graduate assistant on the men’s basketball coaching staff at Miami (Fla.). Played at Kentucky and Cincinnati after leaving Iowa.
Owen Freeman: Transferred from Iowa to Creighton after last season.
Luka Garza: Entering fourth NBA season, his first with the Boston Celtics. He had 10 points and 10 rebounds in 16 minutes in Boston’s preseason win at Memphis Wednesday.
Brock Harding: Transferred from Iowa to TCU after last season.
Ben Krikke: Signed with SGG Baskets Wolmirstedt in Germany’s first division after playing in Spain last season, where he averaged 11.5 points.
Connor McCaffery: Is entering his second year as an assistant coach at Butler.
Patrick McCaffery: Signed with CS Valcea 1924 in Romania after playing last season at Butler.
Riley Mulvey: Transferred from Iowa to Siena after last season.
Keegan Murray: Entering his fourth season with the NBA’s Sacramento Kings. Averaged 12.4 points last season.
Kris Murray: Entering his third season with the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers. Averaged 4.2 points last season.
Jack Nunge: Is playing for the Fukushima Firebonds in Japan after finishing his college career at Xavier and then playing in Italy and France.
Josh Ogundele: Is playing at Hampton after going from Iowa to Middle Tennessee State to Tennessee State. He started 20 games last season at Tennessee State, averaging 6.8 rebounds.
Tony Perkins: Averaged 8.7 points for Missouri last season after playing four years at Iowa.
Filip Rebraca: Is playing professionally in his home nation of Serbia.
Payton Sandfort: Signed with the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder as an undrafted free agent but wasn’t on their preseason roster.
Chris Tadjo: Transferred from Iowa to Santa Clara after last season.
Drew Thelwell: Is playing for L’Elan Bearnais in France after being with Iowa last season. He had 14 points last Saturday.
Joe Toussaint: Played at West Virginia and Texas Tech after leaving Iowa. He most recently played for Prievidza, Slovakia in the FIBA World Cup, averaging 15.5 points.
Seydou Traore: Transferred from Iowa to Utah after last season.
Ahron Ulis: Finished his college career last season after transferring to Nebraska in 2023.
