Hawkeyes seek their second in-state win in a four-day span

Iowa’s next game: vs. No. 7 Baylor, 8 p.m. Thursday, at Orlando, Fla.
What to know: The Hawkeyes have won five straight in the series, 17 of the last 18. That includes a tough 92-86 victory last season in Iowa City.
Iowa has won 10 consecutive games against its three in-state rivals. The Hawkeyes whipped Drake, 100-58, Thursday at home.
As of Friday morning, Iowa ranked in the top 10 nationally in four team categories — assists per game (No. 1, 27.7), field goal percentage (No. 5, .568), rebound margin (No. 8, plus-22.0) and points per game (No. 8, 101.7).
The Hawkeyes placed six scorers into double figures in both of the last two games, and five are averaging 11 points or more through three games.
Sophomore post Ava Heiden leads at 16.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest.
UNI has opened with losses to North Dakota State (at home) and Saint Louis (away).
The Panthers have five Iowans on their roster, including two local girls — Ryley Goebel (Center Point-Urbana) and Jenna Twedt (Benton Community/Kirkwood Community College), both of whom are in the starting lineup.
