What to know: Heading into the fourth game of league play, Iowa is one of four Big Ten unbeatens (joining Illinois, UCLA and USC) while Northwestern is one of five conference teams yet to taste victory (along with Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers and Penn State).
This is the final season for NU Coach Joe McKeown, who has served as a head coach 40 seasons, 18 at Evanston.
Iowa has won the last five in the series, including an 85-80 victory last year in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes are coming off an 86-76 win over No. 20 Nebraska on Thursday at home. They assembled a late 10-0 run to break a 70-70 tie. Chit-Chat Wright led the Hawkeyes with 24 points, Hannah Stuelke added 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Ava Heiden tallied 18 points.
A 6-foot-4 senior forward, Northwestern’s Grace Sullivan is second among league scorers at 23.0 points per game. She shoots 60.1 percent from the floor.
Heiden leads the Hawkeyes at 15.7 points per contest, followed by Stuelke (14.0) and Wright (13.2).
