What to know: This is the first meeting between the teams.
Located in Saint Charles, Mo., and a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, Lindenwood is in its fourth year as an NCAA Division-I program. The Lions have made rapid growth, from 2-24 in its first D-I season to 7-21 in 2023-24, to 23-11 last season.
The Lions advanced to the third round of the WNIT last year.
There is one common opponent: Iowa defeated Drake 100-58; Lindenwood handled the Bulldogs at Des Moines, 68-52, in its most recent game.
Iowa is coming off of its first loss of the season, 74-69 at No. 10 Iowa State on Wednesday. The Hawkeyes were 6 of 12 at the free throw line, continuing a season-long pattern of middling foul shooting (65.4 percent).
Chit-Chat Wright scored a career-high 21 points Wednesday.
