Iowa leads the series, 32-23, and has won eight of the last nine encounters. The Hawkeyes have captured three of the last four at Ames; ISU had won the previous 10 at Hilton.
Iowa State junior Audi Crooks is the national leader in scoring at 27.5 points per game, and is second in field-goal shooting (109 of 149, .732).
As a team, the Cyclones rank third in points per game (95.8) and sixth in scoring margin (plus-38.6). Keep in mind, though, that their 10 opponents sport a composite record of 23-60.
Both teams share the ball as well as just about anybody. Iowa State averages 23.8 assists per game (second in the nation), Iowa 21.7 per game (fourth). ISU’s Jada Williams is good for 6.7 assists per contest.
Williams has made 26 of 27 free throws (96.3 percent).
