West Delaware 55, Charles City 0
Austin Schnieders completed all six of his passes for 105 yards and three touchdowns as the Hawks rolled at home.
Schnieders hit Tate Moorman from 19 yards out, Dylan Popp from 32 and Blake Mather from 11 as West Delaware (7-0) led 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. Popp also scored on a 18-yard run. Macoy Roling added TD runs of 8 and 3 yards as the Hawks led 42-0 at halftime.
Paul Beswick and Wes Helle scored on runs in the second half.
West Delaware totaled 361 yards of offense, holding the Comets to 67.

Decorah 58, Mason City 13
Tanner Caddell completed 5 of 8 passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns and Tommy Sexton scored three TDs as the Vikings won a home.
Trevor Kuennen rushed for 95 yards on seven carries and Noah Milburn had three catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns.
Decorah will travel to Cedar Rapids Xavier next Friday night.

Central DeWitt 33, Mount Vernon 24
Behind Hudson Krukow’s passing and Cooper Small’s running, the Sabers were able to hold off the No. 4 Mustangs.
Small finished 208 yards on 30 carries and Krukow passed for 202 yards, completing 15 of 24 passes.
Kellen Haverback passed for 230 yards for the Mustangs, completing 19 of 34. Michael Ryan caught 12 of those passes for 121 yards.

Belle Plaine 52, HLV-TC 26
Wade Sankot scored three first half touchdowns (2 rushing, 1 receiving) as the Plainsmen cruised to a win at home.
The Plainsmen led 30-6 at half and scored three TDs in the first 4-and-a-half minutes of the third quarter to fully put away.
Belle Plaine moved to 3-4 overall, 3-1 in 8-player District 5.

West Branch 23, Anamosa 3
The Bears outscored the visiting Raiders 23-0 in the second half behind Cooper Gates’ two touchdowns.
After trailing 3-0 at halftime, the Bear defense limited the Raiders to less than 60 yards of offense.
West Branch will face Bellevue next week. The winner will be the Class 2A District 5 champion.
Keaton Gates scored the game’s first touchdown on a 6-yard third quarter run before Cooper Gates sealed the victory with two fourth quarter scores.
West Branch limited the Anamosa offense to 154 total yards, including 54 rushing yards from Hudson Scranton.
West Branch finished with 256 total yards of offense.

Newton 31, Clear Creek Amana 19
The Cardinals scored four rushing touchdowns and won on the road.
The Clippers cut the lead to 24-19 in the fourth quarter after a 1-yard rushing touchdown by Ethan Vice, but Newton drove back down and Isaiah Hansen scored on an 18-yard rushing touchdown to extend the lead to 12.
