MOUNT VERNON 50, MAQUOKETA 0 — Junior Kellen Haverback threw for 243 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown to Mikey Ryan and a 64-yard score to Toby Neal, as the Mustangs won on the road.
Jakob Yock lead the Mustangs in rushing with 85 yards on 12 carries and two TDs.

WEST DELAWARE 48, IOWA FALLS-ALDEN 18 — Jack Cantwell rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns and also scored on a 63-yard pass from Austin Schnieder and an 84-yard interception return as the Hawks won on the road.
Cantwell scored on runs of 13, 7 and 45 yards. Schnieder completed 9 of 15 passes for 177 yards and three TDs.

DECORAH 48, WATERLOO EAST 7 — Tommy Sexton scored Decorah’s first two touchdowns in the first quarter as the rolled on the road.
His first TD was on a 29-yard pass from Tanner Caddell, then he scored again on 3-yard run with 4:13 left in the first.
The Vikings scored three more times in the second quarter — including a 17-yard pass from Caddell to Sexton — taking a 34-0 lead into intermission.

ANAMOSA 24, TIPTON 7 — In a game that saw nine combined turnovers, the Raiders still won their homecoming contest outgaining the Tigers 358-168 in total yards of offense.
Hudson Scranton rushes 39 times for 161 yards and scored two touchdowns while Adam Brophy grabbed eight passes from quarterback Reilly Shaw for 98 yards, one going for a 22 yard score.
Shaw completed 14 of 17 passes for 129 yards.
Tipton’s lone touchdown came in the second quarter when quarterback Garrett Fitch found Gavin Sorgenfrey on a 26-yard TD pass.

BGM 74, MARTENSDALE-ST. MARYS 21 — BGM’s Beau Burns totaled 360 yards rushing, just on his eight touchdown carries.
The Bears dynamic quarterback ran for plenty more on top of that to go with two passing touchdowns. Burns finished with 441 yards on 23 carries.
After a sloppy first quarter with three turnovers, the Blue Devils tied things up at 21 in the second quarter and closed the game scoring 53 unanswered points.

NORWALK 40, CITY HIGH 19 — The Warriors built a 19-13 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half to defeat the Little Hawks on homecoming night.
Norwalk opened the third quarter with a touchdown to go up 26-13, but City High’s Jack Lampe answered with a 45-yard scoring run to cut the margin to seven. The Warriors responded with two more touchdowns before the end of the third and sealed the game with a late score and two interceptions.

WAPSIE VALLEY 27, MAQUOKETA VALLEY 16 — Wapsie Valley used 280 yards from running back Hunter Curley to take a road win over Maquoketa Valley.
Curley tallied three touchdowns on the night, a 91-yard run and two 43-yard scores.
The Warriors put up 380 total yards of offense. Maquoketa Valley posted 338 yards of offense, led by 180 yards on the ground from Rogan Heidt. MV had a 28-yard touchdown from Trevor Grimm to Macoy Stone, a 23-yard field goal from Eli Dougherty and a seven-yard TD run from Heidt.

MOUNT PLEASANT 44, WASHINGTON 20 — For the first time in 17 years, the Panthers have beaten their rival on the football field.
Mount Pleasant broke a 14-game Washington win streak on Friday night its homecoming game.
What was a 14-7 Washington lead turned into a 20-14 Mount Pleasant advantage after a kickoff return touchdown and rushing touchdown, both by Griffen Jones, in the final five minutes of the first half.
The game busted open in the fourth quarter when Mount Pleasant junior Brody Clark scored on a 30-yard pick-six to bring the score to 37-20. Clark also had a receiving score late in the game.
Ramzy Davis and Ryan Helling each had touchdown rushes for the Panthers.
All three Demon scores came on rushing touchdowns by quarterback Kael Williams
Mount Pleasant moved to 4-1 with the win. Washington is now 2-3.

BELLEVUE 48, MONTICELLO 14 — Bellevue improved to 5-0 behind four passing touchdowns from Cal Bonifas.
The Comets led by just nine at halftime, 16-7, before exploding for 32 second-half points.
Bonifas linked up with Keenan Kilburg three times on the night. The first a 13-yard score, followed by a 69-yard TD with 6:47 left in the third quarter and then an 80-yard connection with 9:13 left in the fourth.
Wyatt Wilson ran in a 13-yard touchdown and connected with Alex Jamison for a 15-yard touchdown for the Panthers’ scores.
