North Liberty man charged with sex abuse

A North Liberty man was arrested Sunday on charges that he sexually abused a woman in a North Liberty residence.
Edil Perez Zuniga, 34, is charged with third-degree sexual abuse. According to a criminal complaint, the victim — an adult woman — reported the abuse to the police Sunday night, right after it occurred.
Perez Zuniga was arrested and is being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $20,000 bond. A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the victim.
