Cedar Rapids police investigate death of 22-year-old found at industrial site

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating the death of a 22-year-old man whose body was found at an industrial site in southwest Cedar Rapids Friday, according to a press release from the police department.

The man — Fedel Gongloe, of Marion — was found unresponsive in the 900 block of Ingleside Drive SW on Friday. First responders were called to the scene and attempted lifesaving care, and Gongloe was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, the release states.

“The cause of Mr. Gongloe’s death, and circumstances surrounding the discovery of his body are all under investigation,” the release states.
