Names released in fatal Jones County crash near Anamosa

The Iowa State Patrol has released the name of a man who was killed Monday in a collision just outside Anamosa.
At about 8:10 a.m., Clifford Bickel, 83, of Anamosa, was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass as he entered southbound Highway 151 from South Circle Drive. According to the accident report, Bickel failed to yield to an oncoming 2012 Ford F-250, which struck the Oldsmobile on the driver's side.
Bickel died from his injuries.
The injured pickup driver, 59-year-old Lynn Strang of Hopkinton, was transported by Anamosa Ambulance to Jones Regional Medical Center, the report stated.
