The African American Museum of Iowa will unveil a new exhibit, “Rooted: Labor, Land, & Legacy” on Oct. 17. This exhibit celebrates the role farming plays in Black resiliency and activism.

This new fall tradition raises money for Together We Achieve, a nonprofit working to end food insecurity across Eastern Iowa.
