Man accused of killing stepdaughter facing additional murder charge, sexual abuse charges

EAST DUBUQUE, Illinois - An East Dubuque man accused of killing his stepdaughter is facing four additional charges.

Terry Abbas, 40, is accused of killing his stepdaughter, 14-year-old Chyenne Kircher, in October 2011. Abbas was arrested earlier this month.

In addition to two counts of first-degree murder, Abbas now also faces sexual abuse charges. He also faces a charge of concealing a homicidal death.

Abbas remains in custody on $1 million bond.
