INDEPENDENCE RACING 6.061000.BLR --- (PUBLISHED: Auto racing-loving fans line the track at Independence Motor Speedway, watching a pair of race cars slide through turn four at the extremely popular dirt track. Saturday night shows at IMS routinely draw about 2,000 spectators.) (PUBLISHED: Rinderknecht Associates was the general contractor for the 6,625-square-foot Bever Pool at Bever Park in southeast Cedar Rapids. The complex includes a 118-foot, 2.5-turn water slide (right). The pool took about seven months to construct. Rinderknecht Associates also is the contractor for the new Noelridge Pool at Noelridge Park in northeast Cedar Rapids.) Rinderknecht Associates was the general contractor of the 6,625 square foot Bever Pool including the 118-foot, 2.5-turn water slide at right during the inaugural open swim session Saturday, June 22, 2002, in southeast Cedar Rapids. The pool took about seven months to build.
