The University of Iowa previously received complaints of hazing in 2008 and 2009 against Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a fraternity that was suspended and closed for hazing this week by its national headquarters. The Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Drake University has suspended three members as an investigation gets under way into their roles in an alcohol poisoning case.
