Video Sessions Part 3

Video 1 - Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said very little about QB in his postgame. As you would imagine, the status didn't change with Saturday's performance. 'We had a couple of plans [for QB]. And one of the scenarios we forgot to cover is what unfolded today. It was just a wild game. Weird game. You play things by feel. And nothing's really changed. We like both guys.”
Video 2 - QB Jake Rudock answers his critics. He kind of breaks through the fourth wall. What's the fourth wall? That's basically what separates the performer from the audience. He was asked about his critics and he basically said, you guys and your audience are the critics, you decide. It wasn't abrasive. It wasn't confrontational. I did think it was an interesting break from interview conventions. We are the critics, you are the critics. We are all the critics. Rudock answered us fairly well, in this critic's opinion.
Critics can also give positive reviews. Pretty sure Siskel and Ebert (bless their souls) liked 'The Godfather.”
Video 3 - QB C.J. Beathard . . . I don't know. Did he looked peeved to you guys? I didn't catch that vibe. I thought he answered the big question with, basically, ‘Hey, Jake was kicking tail and taking names. Why change?'” Or something like that. He did, however, say, yeah, I wanted to play more. Can't blame him there.
Are you starting to believe what Ferentz says about two good QBs? I am. I also think 'feel” will change with the situation. I don't think there's anything terribly wrong with that.
Video 4 - SS John Lowdermilk wasn't happy with his performance. He was somewhat emotional. 'I probably should've been benched today, honestly. I didn't play very well.”
