Vehicle crashes through the front of Mandarin Spice Asian Grill restaurant in Marion
A scary situation resulted in no injuries after a vehicle plunged through the front of a Marion restaurant Friday afternoon.
According to press release from the Marion Police Department, at 12:34 p.m., officers were called to the scene of an accident at 1412 Twixt Town Rd. in reference to a vehicle that had collided with the Mandarin Spice Asian Grill.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a vehicle was being driven by a 69-year-old Springville woman when she lost control and crashed into the building. Both the building and the vehicle sustained damage, but the woman was uninjured. There were no other injuries reported from the incident.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marion Police Department.
