CEDAR RAPIDS - A woman charged in connection with a robbery at the U.S. Bank branch in the 100 block of 16th Avenue SW was sentenced in federal court Tuesday.
Bria Daudinot, 21, was the driver in the bank robbery, which happened June 26. 29-year-old Javon Dockery, who police said lived with Daudinot in Cedar Rapids, was also charged. He and Daudinot both pleaded guilty to federal charges in October. Dockery also pleaded guilty to several other bank robberies in Cedar Rapids.
Daudinot denied knowing anything about robbing a bank and told investigators she dropped Dockery off in the area to look for apartments.
A judge sentenced Daudinot to 97 months in prison and must serve a three-year term of supervised release, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
