Cedar Rapids police release surveillance video of Boys & Girls Club burglary suspect

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in the burglary of a Boys & Girls Club center.
Police said the break-in happened on Saturday, April 11 at the Polk Alternative Education Center, 1500 B Avenue NE. Among the items taken were three laptops, a Wii game console, several video games and a 15-passenger van belonging to the club. The suspect urinated and defecated on sports equipment while inside the building, police said.
Police released surveillance video and photos of the suspect. Anyone who can identify the individual are asked to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5459 or Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME.
