Funeral services for Helen Louise Wright, 82, of Tipton, who died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with Pastor Donnita Moeller officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery.

Helen was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Tipton, Iowa. She was a 1948 graduate of Tipton High School and AIC in Davenport. Helen was employed as a deputy county treasurer for 18 ½ years and later in the Communications Department of General Mills, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Business and Professional Women.

Helen is survived by her brothers, Alvin (Mary) Wright of Tipton and Earl Wright of Brighton; a niece, Amy; nephews, Kevin, Kerry, David and Craig; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Michelle.
