Bonnie Lou Wilkerson

Bonnie Lou Wilkerson, 81, of North English, passed away peacefully at English Valley Care Center on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Powell Funeral Home in North English.

Bonnie was born to Dick and Mildred Wiersema on Sept. 20, 1931, in Holland, Mich. She married Norman (Tib) Wilkerson of North English on Sept. 17, 1949, in Clinton, Iowa.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Norman of North English; five children, Kristi (Tom) Klein of North English, Suellen (David) Seaba of Montezuma, Greg (Elvia) Wilkerson of San Antonio, Texas, Doreen Ducey of Charleston, S.C., and Daina (Laura) Wilkerson of New Braunfels, Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beverly Klifman and Patricia Larson; and brother, Bruce Wiersema.

A general memorial fund has been established.
