Robert Tod "Toad" Wenger

Robert Tod Wenger “Toad,” 44, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 in his home. A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. A private family inurnment will be held a later date.

Robert was born July 3, 1968, in Manchester, the son of Terry and Peggy (Price) Wenger. Tod was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed the time spent with his friends and family.

Tod is survived by his mother, Peggy Parsons of Cedar Rapids; father, Terry Wenger of Las Vegas, Nev. and Masonville; brother, Mike (Shadee) Wenger of Osage; a sister, Faith (Darrell) Loney of Cedar Rapids; his grandmother, Patricia Wenger of Masonville; a daughter, Annelies Vangen of Cedar Rapids; a grandson, Cameron Robert Turner; four nieces and two nephews; as well as his aunts and uncles; and his beloved cat, Bear.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Kenneth and Nyline Price; and paternal grandfather, Dean Wenger.
