Trower, Dale
Dale Trower, 93, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Mount Ayr and Kellerton, died Aug. 23, 2009, at Heritage Nursing & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, with visitation on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include his daughter, Jane (Tom) Sickels of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Ron (Cassandra) Trower of Punta Gordo, Fla., and Larry Trower of King City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lucille Kremenak of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Leola; two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial fund has been established to Hospice Compassus in Cedar Rapids.
