Janet Aili Taylor, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. As per her wishes there will be no services.

Janet was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of Matthew Jeronen and Ailin Holinberg. She married Don Taylor in 1972 and they were married for 29 years. Besides living in the Jersey City area, she also spent numerous years living in Bedford, Ind., Las Vegas, and most recently Cedar Rapids. She was currently a resident at Irving Point assisted living facility in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas Vogel of Williams, Ind., and Robert Vogel of Costa Mesa, Calif.; her daughter, April Kinn of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Andrew, Thomas, Ashley, Rachel and Erica; one great-grandchild, Brielle; and two brothers, Joseph Lowenstein of Gainesville, Fla., and Lloyd Jeronen of Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
