Edward W. Striegel

Edward W. Striegel, 64, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa.

He is survived by his wife, Barb, of Keswick; four sons, Jason of Keswick, Nicolas (Dana) of Kalona, Patrick (Mary Catherine) of Monroe, and Ryan (Kylee) of Williamsburg; eight grandchildren, Neesa, Halle, Delaney, Macey, Cody, Tayley, William and Timothy; and brothers and sisters, Kenneth Striegel of Ollie, Larry Striegel of Harper, Joyce Webster of Rhome, Texas, Francene Lorenzo of New Jersey, Jeanette Peirce of Williamsburg, Leo Striegel of Harper, Dennis Striegel of Harper, Leroy Striegel of Carlisle, Sharon Banks of Letts, Raymond Striegel of Indianola, and Jane Mendenhall of Garden Grove.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday,

Jan. 6, 2013, at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial with military rites will be in the Bailey Cemetery, rural Keswick.
