Stodola, Pauline B.
Pauline B. Stodola, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House after a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Saints Catholic Church by the Rev. John Flaherty. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
She is survived by sons, Kevin (Jeri) of Naperville, Il., Steven (Debbie) of Mapleton, Ken (Marge) of Cedar Rapids, Stanley (Vicki) of Golden, Colo., Randall (Lois) of Cedar Rapids and Ron of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Jan Heeren (Bob) of Fairfax; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Ruth; and brother, Melvin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Alois, Charles and Joseph; and her husband of 42 years, Stanley in 1992.
Pauline was born in Clutier, Iowa, to Julia and Emil Dostal. She worked in the food service department at St. Luke’s Hospital, Pioneer Office Products and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids. Pauline was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital for many years.
Memorial donations may be made in Pauline’s name to her family where they will be distributed to her favorite charities.
