Janet M. Stacy-Mangas

Janet M. Stacy-Mangas, 73, of Fayette, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2913, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Waterloo, the daughter of Clifford and Edna Baker Stacy.She lived in Fayette, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. She was employed with Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids, until her retirement.

Survivors include three daughters, Suzette (Dan) Thomas of Cedar Rapids, Laura (Larry) McGaffee of Shorewood, Ill. and Cerise (Steve) LaGrange of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Mark (Diana) Mangas of Shellsburg, Jon (Deneen) Mangas of Coggon and Seth Mangas of Fayette; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Doris) Stacy of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Iva Jean Stacy of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Barb Stacy of Omaha, Neb.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jonathan Mangas; and a brother, Rex Stacy.

Private family graveside services will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.
