Dorothy A. Smith Schluter

Dorothy A. Smith Schluter, 76, of rural Marengo, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at her home. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown, with the Rev. David Remfer officiating. Burial: Koszta Cemetery, rural Marengo. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.

A memorial fund has been established.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Don Schluter, David Schluter and Dan Schluter of Marengo; daughters, Darlene Lenoch of Marengo and Dorene Wilcox (Ken) of Marshalltown; along with three grandchildren, a stepgranddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cleo Baker Smith; her husband, Donald; a brother, Bruce Smith; and a grandson, Brandon Collins.
