Roberta Plattenberger, 87, of Martelle, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at her home in Martelle.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Martelle United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Rollins officiating. A dinner will follow the service. Her body has been cremated and burial will be at a later date. Family will receive friends following the service until 4 p.m.
