Patricia Lynn Piper

Patricia Lynn Piper, 70, of Coralville, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Mercy Iowa City. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral Service in Iowa City, where a parish vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.

Patricia Lynn Kutcher was born Feb. 12, 1942, in Iowa City, the daughter of Roy John and Mary Ann (Bowman) Kutcher. For over 37 years Pat worked at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, retiring in 2007. She was a member of National Catholic Society of Foresters for over 50 years.

Her family includes her son, Christopher ‘Bubba” Piper of Coralville; and her siblings, R. John Kutcher (Judy) of Eldridge, Juanita Schulte of Norway, Iowa, Helen Schulte (Mick) of Oxford and Kathy Tandy (Gomer) of Oxford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Theresa Lynn Schnoebelen; and her brother, Richard Kutcher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Pat’s memory to Iowa City Hospice.
