Lorraine M. Phillips

Lorraine M. Phillips, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Living Center West. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by Certified Celebrant Julie Freese. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Patricia Doyle of Pt. Orange, Fla. and Janette (Clarence) Mowery and Susan Rajtora, all of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great -grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a daughter, Barbara; and grandson, David.

Lorraine was born Aug. 2, 1921, in Marion. She married Paul Phillips on July 17, 1939, in Anamosa. He died in 1978. Lorraine was a cook at St. Luke’s Hospital for many years, retiring in 1991. Lorraine was an avid bowler and loved working in her yard and taking walks.
