Debra J. Peterson

Debra J. Peterson, 55, of Marion, passed way Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Jan. 28 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2210 Grand Ave., Marion.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather Schloss; son, Brandon Schloss, both of Cedar Rapids; and grandchildren, Sydney Perkins, Chelsea Perkins, Chloe Parrish-Schloss, Preston Schloss, Zack Melvin and Isabella Schloss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Dean Schloss; in-laws, Jack and Sandy Williams; and friend, Marty McNeil.

Debra Jean Fifield was born Nov. 10, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Loseau) Fifield. She graduated from Washington High School and worked in the clerical certifications field. Debra had previously worked for Jim’s Foods for seven years, Hawkeye Seed for three years and BL Anderson for 11 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, mushroom hunting, gardening and cooking.

She will be greatly missed by al who loved and knew her.

Memorial may be given in her name, care of Brandon Schloss.
