David R. “Dave” Paul, 76, of Coralville, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at his home from melanoma. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Iowa City. The Rev. Kyle Otterbein will officiate. The family will greet friends Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City is handling arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Joann (Dougherty) Paul; a son, Stephen Paul and his wife, Paula Mann, of Northfield, Minn.; a daughter, Susan Cook and her husband, Joe, and their children, Ryan and Erin, all of Coralville; a brother, Dr. James Paul and his wife, Helen Paul, of Monmouth, Ill.; and a sister, Wanda Mae Cook (Paul) of Winchester, Va.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Knochel; and a brother, Frederick Paul.
