He had just finished his first year at Kirkwood Community College in the Fire Sciences Program, working toward his goal of becoming a full-time fireman. Walker was not one to sit still, he and his brother, Tyler had a mowing and snow removal service in Oxford for years, he enjoyed tearing down the mowers and putting them back together. He enjoyed trapshooting, hunting, woodworking, riding motorcycles and was involved with flying lessons at Green Castle Airport to get his pilot’s license.
His family includes his parents, Clint and Lisa Olson; brother, Tyler Olson; grandparents, Roy and Marie Olson and Lon and Barbara Drake all of Oxford; uncles and aunts, Reed and Marlene Drake of Oxford, Eric and Rainy Drake of Jacksonville, Fla., Todd and Jessie Drake of Tiffin, Alan and Tracy Olson of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mark and Carol Olson of Phoenix City, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
