Judy Ann Nish

Judy Ann Nish, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Nish of Cedar Rapids; children, Kimberly Pfeiffer of Central City and Mike Pfeiffer of Marion; grandchildren, Alayna Toom, Preston Pfeiffer, Katie Pfeiffer and Aidan Pfeiffer; and siblings, John (Debbie) Marmon of New Virginia, Iowa and Janyce Proctor of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Marmon, Roy and Margaret McConnell; and in-laws, John and Dorothy Nish.

Judy was born Dec. 28, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of John J. Marmon and Margaret (Scobee) McConnell. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She married Douglas Nish on May 13, 1988. Judy worked at Mercy Hospital for 14 years. She was all about helping others and touched the lives of anyone who ever met her. The Lord now has one more angel looking over us.
