Robert Allen Neagle

Robert Allen Neagle, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Living Center East following a long illness. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Olivet Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Sonda Kirsteatter. Private inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Robert is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends at Olivet Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; a brother and a sister.

Robert was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Pratt, Kan., the son of Guy and Lucile Neagle. He married Darlene Hestroffer on May 6, 1951, at Central Park Presbyterian Church. She died Feb. 25, 2011.

Robert worked at Cryovac, retiring after 40 years of service.

He was a member of The Stamp Club, Cedar Rapids Emmaus Community and Olivet Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder and on several committees.
