William T. Myers Sr.

William T. Myers Sr., 65, of Shellsburg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital. A memorial gathering for Bill will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, Cedar Rapids. In honor of Bill’s military service, the Shellsburg American Legion will conduct full military rites at 7 p.m. Monday at The Avacentre. A private family inurnment will be held in Czech National Cemetery.

Bill is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Brenda; his son, Bill III (Missy); daughter, Brandie (Martin); daughters, Tammy and Cindy; and son, Jamie; along with his children’s spouses, his brothers and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, and stepbrother.
