Tracy R. Miller

Tracy R. Miller, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to join his father and brother on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Private family burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his mother, M. Joyce Miller (John Hlavacek) of Cedar Rapids; son, Devin Miller of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Patty (Dana) Mellen of Illinois, and Shelley (Gary) Sweet of Cedar Rapids; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus Robert Miller; and brother, Thaddeus Ronald Miller.

Born Feb. 22, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tracy was the son of M. Joyce (Thompson) and Thaddeus Robert Miller. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1975. In October of 1977, he married Vicki Eckley. They later divorced. Tracy lived and worked his entire life in Cedar Rapids, most recently at Toyota Motor Services.

Tracy enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
