Dorothy Arlene Mikesell

Dorothy Arlene Mikesell, 89, of Belle Plaine, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Belle Plaine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Hrabak Funeral Home, with Pastor Todd Jones presiding. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She is survived by daughters, Julie (Paul) Beck of Tama, Becky (Tim) Daily of Belle Plaine and Lisa (Rick) Kalina of Brooklyn; son, David (Leora) Mikesell of Belle Plaine; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 1998; and brothers, Howard M. Gallagher and Herbert F. Gallagher Jr.
