Charlotte F. Markle, 77, of Maquoketa, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 5, 2013, at her home in Maquoketa. A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, where visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Alcock Cemetery, Frederika.

Those left to honor Charlotte’s memory include her children, Craig Markle of Maquoketa, Dennis (Peggy) Markle of Cedar Rapids, Terry (Kelli) Markle of DeWitt, DeeAnn (Kevin) Flenker of Maquoketa, Sharon (Mark) Smith-Lossiah of Savage, Minn., and Tammy (Denny DeVore) Markle of Maquoketa; a brother, Gary (Linda) Duenow of Cedar Rapids; a brother-in-law, Frank (Donna) Markle of Grimes; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Chelsea) Markle, Ashley (Chad) Weede, Kenda Markle, Elly and Kaleb Flenker, Alec, Drew, Adam and Aaron Lossiah; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Hunter Weede; and several nieces and nephews.
