Roger D. Main

Roger D. Main, 53, of Central City, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Elizabeth Hilkerbaumer. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Marion. Burial: Blodgett Cemetery, rural Central City.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Crandall of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Debra (Jack Kosman) Main of Cedar Rapids, Kelly Main of Lisbon, Rod (Xiu Chen) Main of Cedar Rapids and Dean (Maxine) Main of Lisbon; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and son, Eli.

Roger was born Dec. 12, 1958, in Independence, the son of Dale and Bobbie (Underwood) Main.

A memorial fund has been established in Roger’s memory.
