Corbin Thomas Maier entered Heaven’s Gates at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012. He was the son of Samantha Leigh (Heckman) and Thomas John Maier and the little brother of Chason John Maier, 2 ½ and Gentry Ann Maier, 17 months, of Iowa City.

Grandparents are Anne Weinard and Brent Proctor, West Liberty, Kurt and Laurie Heckman, West Liberty, and Bill and Denise Maier, Iowa City; and great-grandparents, Shirley Weinard, West Liberty, Violet Proctor, Moscow, Donald and Laurena Heckman of Atalissa, and Betty Hanson and Janice Maier, Iowa City.

He was greeted in Heaven by his great-grandfathers, Laverne ’Chub’ Weinard, William Hanson and John Maier; uncle, Austin Maier; and great-uncle, Jeff Verry.

Family graveside services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
