Janet L. Long

Janet L. Long, 84, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Arbor Place following an extended illness. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Inurnment will follow Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Long; two nephews, Michael (Linda) Barrigar and Don (Diann) Barrigar; and three nieces, Sharon (Robert) Jadrnicek, Linda (Dennis) Krog and Karen (Derald) Dosland.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Donald and Robert.

Janet was born June 15, 1928, the daughter of Robert and Marie Barrigar. She was a homemaker. Janet enjoyed time with her family and will be missed.
