Lawler, Jack Dee
Jack Dee Lawler, 87, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. A resident of Chattanooga, Tenn., for over 18 years, he was a member of First Centenary Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Beatrice Foods. Jack was an avid Woodworker.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lois Lawler; son, Craig (Barb Amolsch) Lawler of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Kim (Russ) Huston of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Dawn (Art) Johnson of Chattanooga and Stacy (Bruce) Durham of Chattanooga; brothers, Bruce and Rex Lawler; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Centenary Church, The Oak Street Center, 418 Oak S., Chattanooga, TN 37402; with the Rev. Brian Davis officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday. Visitation is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
