Virginia Kingfield

Virginia Kingfield, 86, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Ionia, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in New Hampton. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Ionia, with inurnment at St. Boniface Cemetery, Ionia.

Virginia lived in Cedar Rapids and worked as a secretary first for National Oats and then for Frank Magid & Associates.

Survivors include one brother, Clark (Kay) Koenigsfeld of Ionia; one sister-in-law, Beverly Koenigsfeld of Charles City; and nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arthur and Charles Koenigsfeld; and two sisters, Marina Smith and Dolores LaRose.
