Patricia Jacobson

Patricia Jacobson, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Lynn Jacobson of Cedar Rapids; children, Kim Hamilton, Konnie Jacobson, Lonnie (Ladonna) Jacobson and Kris (Ed) Mittan, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Jennifer, Judy, Justin, Megan, Shawn, Ryan, Cameren, Callan, Marty, Sirese, Chelsea, Daulton, Leea and Robby; six great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and siblings, Kathy Shepherd, Sharon Doty and Dave Shepherd.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Doris Shepherd; son, Lynn Patrick Jacobson; four brothers, Ronald Shepherd, Larry, Don Shepherd and Loraine Shepherd; and two sisters, Carol Bennington and Marilyn Adams.

Patricia was born on June 25, 1937, in Decatur, daughter of Alvin and Doris (Draper) Shepherd. She married Lynn David Jacobson in 1957, in Nevada, Iowa. Patricia worked at Rockwell for 30 years where she later retired. She was in the Rockwell Bowling group. In retirement she enjoyed her children, grandchildren, traveling, camping, fishing and her crossword puzzles.
